What We Believe

We are a friendly congregation whose purpose is to follow the example of Jesus Christ, expressing a loving attitude to everyone. We seek to serve our neighbours and the wider community through caring friendships.

Our desire is to provide a place where faith faith can grow, where the good news about Jesus is explained and where the love of God is put into practice.

We believe that it is important for all Christians to find a local church where they feel at home and find a real sense of being part of “God’s family”.

Mission Statement

Compton Methodist Church welcomes everyone into our fellowship. We aim, through our worship, Bible study and prayer to grow closer to God and to bring others into a true relationship with Him. We seek to offer God's love made known in Jesus Christ. We are determined to show this love in action in our daily lives and fellowship, by reaching out into the community and recognising and responding to the needs of the wider world.
